General information
Description: Nicholls, K. H. (1982): Mallomonas species (Chrysophyceae) from Ontario, Canada, including descriptions of two new species. - Nova Hedwigia 36: 89-124.

Autecology: pH indifferent, prefers cold water.
Distribution: cosmopolitan, widely distributed.
